Maddock Films produced SkyForce Trailer has just released. It stars Akshay Kumar, Debutant Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan in key roles. The movie is about India’s first Airstrike in Pakistan in the year 1965. While the trailer received mixed feelings, we are here to review the trailer on what’s good & bad about the trailer.
The Good
Akshay Kumar looks fresh in the role which is a good thing. It’s been long since Akshay Kumar made a patriotic movie. He used to shine in these types of movies before. For example Rustom, Airlift, Baby, etc.
Veer Pahariya being the debutant looks so raw in his skills. Sara Ali Khan plays the wife of Veer Pahariya and she looks decent in her role.
Background Score & Music seems good. The last background music of Lata Mangeshkar’s Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo is pure goosebumps for fans. We are expecting cries on this music during our theatre experience.
The Bad
The VFX looks off in some places. Although it is not too bad, for a 300 crores INR budget movie, it should have been better. The Fighter movie by Siddharth Anand had a better VFX at a similar budget and similar subject.
The story is predictable and we won’t be having that surprise element in theatre as now we already know that Veer Pahariya’s character is going to die. The makers should’ve kept it as a surprise.
Conclusion
All said and done, SkyFore Trailer seems balanced with the plus point being the lead Akshay Kumar’s acting. And the other cast seems good too. Let’s hope we get some great music album from the movie. See you on the first day first show on 24th January 2025.
